When kids have a party they inevitably receive a lot of birthday cards. How do you display them without feeling like the house is bring over run? Why not create a birthday card rainbow?
In the hallway outside her room I blu-tacked the cards to the wall in the shape of a rainbow.
Olive loves to look at the pictures and recognises the names within them.
Its a simple way to keep the cards on display and makes them interactive.
Almost two months after her party she still adores them.
Works for me!

That’s a great idea Di. I normally put them on top of the TV and it’s too high for the kids to see. This will encourage them to read too. Thanks!

I used to [try to] balance them on a half wall in our kitchen/family room but they would always blow off when the back door opened. This works a lot better.
It is a great idea. I have a string kept up all year for them, but your rainbow is way prettier.
Mine are up on the kitchen shelves but they blow all over the kitchen whenever it’s windy!
Thanks Seana. I got sick of picking them up. That’s when I decided to stick them up instead
I would love to do that with the girls cards, but our little 3 year old destroyer would pull them off and well like his name implies….destroy them. It’s a great idea.

LOL! I think Olive would have too last year (3yo) but this year she’s just so in to them.
